I recently purchased an older home. It’s a fix-me-upper, but it has terrific bones. It’s located in a historic neighborhood which means that most of the reconstruction must match the style of the period when it was built. One of the things that I plan on upgrading are the windows which have very poor insulating quality. The original panes are simply sheets of thin glass that don’t keep the heat and cold out at all. I’m going to upgrade them with a similar looking style that is weatherproof and has a high insulating factor. Philadelphia Glass has a huge selection of possibilities to choose from, all of which will greatly improve my home’s value too.
